Before you know it, the school year will be over and it is time to think back on all the people you met this year from the York University community. At York, we are extremely fortunate to have students, staff, and faculty who are committed to enhancing the quality of life for students and they deserve recognition and encouragement for their crucial work. Are you one of these great leaders? Do you know someone that you feel qualifies? The York University Student Centre (YUSC) is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life at York University and is committed to facilitating leadership throughout the campus. To this end, we have established three awards:

York University Student Centre Local Student Award

For a graduating student who has shown commitment to a local aspect of the York University Community (club, college, department). The award winner will receive a certificate along with a $500 cash prize. Download Application Form.

York University Student Centre Community Student Award

For a graduating student who has shown commitment to the York University Community as a whole. The award winner will receive a certificate along with a $500 cash prize. Download Application Form.

York University Student Centre Deborah Hobson Staff Award

For faculty or staff who are committed to enhancing the quality of life for students. The winner of the Deborah Hobson Staff Award will receive a certificate and $100 will be donated in their name to the York Bursary Program. Download Application Form.

Completed packages for the 2010 York University Student Centre Leadership Series Awards are due by 5:00 PM on Friday April 16, 2010 and should be submitted to: Student Centre Leadership Award Committee, York University Student Centre Suite 335, 4700 Keele Street, Toronto, ON M3J 1P3.
